24-hour emergency assistance

Immediate response to raids, interrogations and flagrante delicto arrests (Art. 285 CPPN).

An unexpected arrest, a dawn raid, a summons to an interrogation with a tight deadline — these are the moments when the immediate presence of a defence attorney changes the entire course of a case. The first procedural steps, how the procedure is documented, what is said, what is withheld, what is signed — all of this shapes the evidence and often the final outcome.

That is why we provide 24-hour emergency criminal defence in the City of Buenos Aires and Buenos Aires Province. We attend police stations, prosecutor's offices, duty courts and detention centres, with physical presence and rapid coordination with family members.

Situations where speed is decisive

Flagrante delicto arrest

Police may arrest without a warrant only when they catch a suspect in the act or immediately afterwards (Art. 285 CPPN). The defence attorney must act within hours: the detention must be reported to a judge, reviewed and, if warranted, challenged through habeas corpus.

Home raid

A search requires a reasoned judicial order (Art. 18 CN; Art. 224 CPPN), except in narrow exceptional circumstances. We accompany the homeowner to verify the legality of the procedure, monitor the seizure of items and prevent self-incriminating statements.

Summons to interrogation

The interrogation is the first formal act of defence. We prepare the accused in the hours beforehand: case analysis, the decision to testify or stay silent, strategy for handling questions. A poorly prepared interrogation can compromise the entire defence.

Indictment notification

The indictment (Art. 306 CPPN) opens the window to appeal and, where pre-trial detention is ordered, to request release. Deadlines are short — generally 3 days — and allow no margin for error.

Asset seizure or account freeze

When items — phones, computers, documents — are seized or accounts are frozen, there are fast legal routes to challenge their legality and seek partial or full return.

Frequently asked questions

What should I do if a family member is arrested?

Call us immediately. We need to know where they are being held, what charges are being considered and whether they have already made a statement. In the meantime: they must not sign anything or make any statement until the attorney arrives.

Can I speak with my detained family member?

They have the right to immediate contact with family and counsel. If the police station denies this, a habeas corpus petition is filed.

The police are raiding my home. What should I do?

Stay calm, verify they have a judicial order, do not sign anything before the attorney arrives, and do not make any statement. Call us immediately.

How much does emergency intervention cost?

The initial intervention covers the first critical 24-48 hours. Scope and fees are agreed following the first contact and assessment of the situation.
